Dumble passed away, which Im sure youve heard. Did you ever get to meet the man? Was your Dumble amp one of the bespoke ones which he tuned to your playing or did you get it from a previous owner?
I think the last time I had it out was with George Porter in Ardmore Pa. maybe 3 years ago.
Been too stalled by the pandemic to remember.
Mostly I leave it home now, which is crazy sad for me.
It was my main amp for decades until it’s collectibility caught up with the reality of my income.
At some point it’ll be the right tool for the job and I’ll take it out again, but I could say the same about my DR103.

Ugh! This BS has been so horribly politicized, I can’t stand it!! Sorry it’s had you sidelined for so long. On a brighter note, I’ll be glad to catch the 3/19 show in Miami! What will you be running for the Miami shows?

I didn’t realize that you played with Porter. Very cool! I used to work for George for a good chunk of the 90’s. Lost touch with him when I moved to California. Such a great person and musician.
RIP
Never met the man.
I got mine from Terry Haggerty back when they cost about a Boogie.
Dumble gave Terry two ODS, that’s how long ago that was.
Great amp, no doubt about it. Dumble had great ears and he knew what he was doing.
End of an era.
Do you still have yours in the rotation on either coast?
Dude. . I’m not even in rotation lol : (
