Frank Swart here. I’m co producing an instrumental blues series with my studio / label partner Brian Brinkerhoff (former VP Disney Music) and we would LOVE to have you solo on a track! I’ve been blessed to have everybody from Vieux Farka Touré & Greg Martin to Mike Stern & Lucky Peterson and nearing 200 more heavy beautiful cats so far.
The core trio is myself on bass, Rich Kirch from John Lee Hooker’s band for the last 17 years of his life and Marcus David (Nick Gravenites) Deszon Claiborne (Robben Ford), Willy Jordan (Elvin Bishop) or Alvino Bennett (Stevie Wonder) playing drums. If you have any Northern Cali plans, we have a proper studio in Santa Cruz and a couple of other recording situations closer to SFO. Some cats have “telecommuted” with great success. I’ve even gone Alan Lomax when absolutely necessary. Please get back to us and Brian will answer all logi$tical questions. I promise it’ll be quick, painless and most importantly FUN!
